One thing that I have always loved to do was go camping. I have camped in all kinds of weather in all kinds of terrain, and I honestly cannot think of one time where I didn't have a good time. To me the camping part of going to festivals is what makes the festival experience so much more fun. Back in the day, when I was younger and living in Florida, we used to go to concerts all the time. Most times we had to try and remember how the hell we got there in the first place and try to find our way home. Other times if the venue was close to the beach we would just go there and sleep on the beach until the next day. Festival camping is the absolute best idea! - You can get as drunk or as wasted as you want and ya ain't gotta worry about driving home.
- You can make all the noise you want and no one cares.
- All your friends and neighbors are just as fucked up as you are.
At the first Lockn fest, I loaded everything in my 2002 Ford Taurus and had barely any room to drive. Last year I drove my MB ML430 SUV and had plenty of room for everything.
But this years Lockn I will probably be driving my '68 VW Bug with roof rack and pulling a small 40"x48" trailer. (I contacted lock about the trailer and they emailed me saying that the trailer would be fine in GA camping) Incidently, the first two Lockns I bought Preffered Tent Only camping, but this year I'm going to try out the Car Camping.

Wild Bill, I wish you would consider forest camping. If you get there in line like we were last year, you have pick of the litter on size and location of your campsite. Some really really great things took place in the magical forest last Lockn'
