How bad is it once you are lined up and gates open?

How bad is it once you are lined up and gates open? Well last year was perfect. When I parked in the field of dreams to wait to get in, I was about the fifth car in the second row. I figured I would catch some zzz's once I was there, but Nooo. lol We pretty much partied until daybreak when they started letting everyone in. I had music to the right of me, dancing girls to my left, and beer and refreshments in the back. By the time the gates opened I was already out of beer! When the gates opened, I guess it was only about 20 minutes or so and my line started to move. When I got up to get the wrist band and have my car inspected all they wanted to know was if I had any drugs or glass. I just laffed and said hell no. Me? lol. (which I didn't btw) About 10 minutes at the checkpoint and I was driving to the preffered tent only area. I found my people, and was set up in no time.

We got there at 430 AM last year and were in the 7th row. Rolled right on in. This year we are getting there at midnight so we can transfer stuff from Bill's car to the truck and enjoy the love all around us!!!!

I will need to know where the day parking is and hope that my car will be safe. I will give you my phone number Justice so that we can converse about the logistics and be able to contact each other when we get there. I also might be picking up some Media passes too, so I will need to figure out exactly how to get all this done as well....

If I remember correctly, 2013 I was in The Field by 2am and was in by 11am; no problems. 2014 was in The Field by 2:30am and was in by 10:30am. 2013 I was about 75 cars in front of me on row 1. 2014 at 2:30am it was row 4 and idk how many cars were in front (a lot).

Last year I spent about an hour in the WalMart Supercenter in Madison Heights before braving into the Field. Word was a good many BLF and others were going to wait it out in the parking lot. Well, the WM manager called the cops and wasn't going to allow the 'hippies' to crash in his store lot. I don't remember what a bought, probably ice - gas, I topped off my gas tank before heading to Arrington.

Here's to hoping that we will be on the LOCKN' Farm on Wednesday September 7th for an early camping add-on option for LOCKN' 2016. If it's offered, I'm there!
